The Quantum Metaphor Project

In 2025, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the development of quantum mechanics with the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (link). This global initiative honours a century since the birth of quantum physics, which is intimately linked to the University of Zurich, as both Schrödinger and Einstein worked here. 

The Quantum Metaphor Project is a collaboration between the University of Zurich and Jonathon Keats, an artist, writer, and experimental philosopher based in the United States and Europe. It aims at exploring the metaphorical connections between how we understand quantum phenomena, and how we view society.
